Description

Tender Cajun-seasoned steak tips served over rigatoni pasta in a creamy, cheesy Parmesan and mozzarella sauce. A bold and comforting dish perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak tips
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak tips until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Set aside.
  3. Cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Add the cooked rigatoni to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
  8. Return the steak tips to the skillet and mix gently to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes to meld the flavors.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
  • Substitute steak with chicken or shrimp for variation.
  • Pasta alternatives like penne or fettuccine can be used.
  • Add a splash of white wine or smoked paprika for added depth.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
