These Easy Big Mac Sliders are a perfect party treat combining all the classic flavors of a Big Mac in a fun, bite-sized slider form. Featuring a savory ground beef mixture, tangy Big Mac-style sauce, melty American cheese, and crisp lettuce, all layered between soft slider buns and finished with a toasty sesame seed top, these sliders are sure to be a crowd-pleaser that’s quick and simple to prepare.

Ingredients

Slider Buns and Topping

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2430 dill pickle slices
  • 9 slices American cheese

Slider Mixture

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped white onion

Big Mac Style Sauce

  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, sugar, yellow mustard, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder until fully combined. Refrigerate the sauce to let the flavors meld while you prepare the rest of the sliders.
  2. Cook the Beef Mixture: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the lean ground beef, chopped white onion, salt, and black pepper. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until the beef is browned and the onions are softened. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or sheet pan to prepare for assembly.
  4. Assemble the Bottom Layer: Arrange the bottom halves of the slider buns in the greased baking dish. Spread a thin, even layer of the prepared Big Mac sauce over each bottom bun to ensure every bite is flavorful.
  5. Add Beef, Cheese, and Pickles: Distribute the cooked beef mixture evenly over the sauced buns. Lay the slices of American cheese evenly over the beef, then top with dill pickle slices, layering for that classic Big Mac taste.
  6. Melt the Cheese: Place the assembled sliders in the preheated oven and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted perfectly over the beef.
  7. Add Lettuce and Sauce: Remove the sliders from the oven and sprinkle the shredded lettuce generously on top of the melted cheese and pickles. Add another layer of Big Mac sauce over the lettuce for extra flavor.
  8. Prepare the Top Buns: Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders. Brush each top bun with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over them to mimic the signature Big Mac bun.
  9. Toast the Tops: Return the sliders to the oven and bake for an additional 3–4 minutes, until the top buns are lightly toasted and golden brown.
  10. Serve: Remove from the oven, slice into individual sliders if baked as a whole, and serve warm for a delicious party appetizer or meal option.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh slider buns or soft Hawaiian rolls to replicate the texture of a Big Mac bun.
  • Feel free to customize the sauce by adjusting the sweetness or tanginess to your preference.
  • You can prepare the Big Mac sauce a day ahead and refrigerate to save time on the day of serving.
  • Make sure to drain the cooked beef well to avoid soggy sliders.
  • If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.
