This homemade ranch dressing is creamy, tangy, and bursting with herb flavor. Perfect as a dip or dressing, it’s easy to make and far tastier than store-bought.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup buttermilk (adjust for desired consistency)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried dill
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp dried chives
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice or white vinegar
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth.
- Gradually stir in the buttermilk to reach your desired consistency.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, parsley, chives, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- Add lemon juice or vinegar for a bit of acidity and mix again.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
