Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups frozen or homemade French fries
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 onion, diced (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or preferred spices
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the French fries until golden and crispy using oven, air fryer, or deep fryer.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and a splash of water to the beef. Simmer until thickened and flavors meld.
  4. Warm tortillas slightly in a pan or microwave to make folding easier.
  5. Layer cheese in the center of each tortilla, followed by beef, fries, lettuce, tomato, and onion.
  6. Add sour cream or mayo if desired.
  7. Roll each tortilla tightly into a wrap.
  8. Toast wraps in a pan or on a grill for a crispy finish.
