Description

These baked garlic Parmesan potato wedges are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and loaded with bold garlic and cheesy Parmesan flavor. Oven-baked to golden perfection, they make the ultimate easy side dish or snack for any meal.

Ingredients

  • Russet potatoes, cut into wedges
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Cut potatoes into wedges: slice in half lengthwise, then into 3–4 wedges per half depending on size.
  3. In a large bowl, toss wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Arrange in a single layer on the baking sheet, skin-side down.
  5. Sprinkle half the Parmesan cheese over the potatoes.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping once if needed, until golden and crisp.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan and parsley, if using. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For even crispier wedges, soak potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes, then dry well before seasoning.
  • Add a pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika for extra kick.
  • Use sweet potatoes for a slightly sweeter version.
  • Try dipping in ranch, garlic aioli, or marinara for even more flavo
