Description

These air fryer honey butter garlic chicken tenders are crispy, juicy, and coated in a sweet and savory glaze, making them a perfect family-friendly meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders or boneless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat eggs in a second bowl; place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dredge chicken strips in flour mixture, then eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  7. While chicken cooks, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  8. Stir in honey and cook for another minute until combined.
  9. Toss cooked tenders in honey butter garlic sauce until evenly coated.
