Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders or boneless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Beat eggs in a second bowl; place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dredge chicken strips in flour mixture, then eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- While chicken cooks, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Stir in honey and cook for another minute until combined.
- Toss cooked tenders in honey butter garlic sauce until evenly coated.
