Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and chili flakes.
  3. Season the chicken tenders evenly with the spice mix.
  4. In another bowl, combine melted butter, honey, and minced garlic to make the glaze.
  5. In a separate dish, mix panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Brush each tender with the honey butter garlic glaze to coat completely.
  7. Press the glazed tenders into the breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.
  8. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes.
  9. Place tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket with space between them.
  10. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  11. Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.
  12. Brush with additional glaze before serving for extra flavor.
