Description

These air-fried apple wedges are a sweet and crispy treat, paired with a rich caramel whipped cream dipping sauce. Perfect for a quick dessert or afternoon snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium Gala apples
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • 4 oz whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and slice the apples into 1/4-inch thick wedges.
  2. Toss apple wedges with melted butter and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Arrange apple wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 5–7 minutes until golden and tender.
  6. Mix sugar and remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl.
  7. Immediately toss hot wedges in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Gently fold caramel sauce into whipped cream until smooth and chill for 10 minutes.
  9. Serve warm apple wedges with caramel whipped cream for dipping.
