Ingredients

  • 15.25 oz box white cake mix
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1¼ cup red, white & blue M&M candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F and grease a 9×13‑inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, egg, milk, and oil; stir into a stiff dough.
  3. Fold in white chocolate chips and 1 cup of M&M candies.
  4. Add all but 1 Tbsp of the jimmies, reserving that for topping.
  5. Press dough evenly into the pan, then sprinkle remaining M&Ms and jimmies on top.
  6. Bake for 25–28 minutes, until golden brown and center is set.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into about 32 bars.

Notes

  • Store cooled bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • Freeze for up to 2 months and thaw at room temperature before serving.
  • Use different cake mixes or candies to suit the season.
  • If bars turn out dry, reduce baking time or substitute oil with butter.
