Ingredients
For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Caesar Dressing:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Wraps:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shaved)
- 1/2 cup croutons (optional)
- 4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to ensure even coating and flavor.
- Grill Shrimp: Heat your grill to medium-high and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque, indicating they are perfectly cooked.
- Make the Caesar Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Warm Tortillas: Heat a skillet over medium heat and warm each flour tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side to make them pliable and easy to fold.
- Assemble the Wraps: Spread a generous layer of Caesar dressing over each warmed tortilla. Layer on the grilled shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, and optionally add crumbled bacon and croutons for extra texture and flavor.
- Fold and Roll: Fold the sides of each tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom up to create a secure wrap that holds all the ingredients together.
- Serve: Slice the wraps in half for easier eating and serve immediately while the shrimp is warm and the tortillas soft.
Notes
- For a low-carb option, substitute flour tortillas with large lettuce leaves or low-carb wraps.
- Feel free to omit bacon and croutons to keep wraps lighter or vegetarian-friendly by substituting shrimp with grilled tofu or veggies.
- If you don’t have a grill, you can cook the shrimp in a grill pan or skillet on the stovetop.
- Make the Caesar dressing ahead of time and refrigerate to save prep time.
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice in the shrimp and dressing adds a bright, tangy flavor that enhances the overall taste.
