Description
Sweet, creamy strawberry fudge swirled with dark chocolate for a hauntingly romantic treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (3 oz) box strawberry gelatin powder
- Red gel food coloring (optional)
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Line an 8×8‑inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt white chocolate chips and condensed milk together until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and strawberry gelatin powder. Add red food coloring if you want a deeper red color.
- Pour the strawberry mixture into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
- In a separate bowl, melt dark chocolate chips with butter until glossy.
- Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the strawberry fudge base, then gently swirl with a skewer or knife to create a marbled effect.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or until firm). Lift from pan and cut into squares. Serve.
Notes
- Use good quality chocolate for smoother texture.
- Don’t overheat the chocolate — melt on low heat and stir constantly.
- Swirl gently — over‑mixing will muddy the pattern.
- Line the pan well so you can lift the fudge out easily.
- Dip your knife in warm water before cutting for clean edges.
- Store in an airtight container, refrigerate if your ambient temperature is warm.
