Description
Crispy cottage cheese chips are a high-protein, low-carb snack made with minimal ingredients. Perfectly crunchy around the edges with a slightly chewy center, these chips are a great alternative to traditional snacks and are highly customizable with your favorite seasonings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
- Optional: 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Optional: 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Optional: 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- Optional: 1/4 tsp chili flakes
- Optional: 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- Optional: 1/4 tsp everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper or use a silicone baking mat.
- Drop spoonfuls of cottage cheese onto the tray, spacing them apart.
- Gently flatten each pile with the back of a spoon.
- Sprinkle your chosen seasonings over the top.
- Bake or air fry for 20–30 minutes, until golden brown and crispy around the edges.
- Let the chips cool on the tray to crisp up further before serving.
Notes
- Use parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
- Small curd cottage cheese works best for optimal texture.
- Customize with seasonings or mix in shredded cheese for variation.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- Reheat at 300°F (150°C) for 5 minutes if chips soften.
